With just one month to go until chocks away at AERO Asia 2025, the organisers have unveiled an impressive lineup featuring some of the industry’s most well-renowned companies, from both China and further afield. Set to take place from 27 – 30 November at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center, under the theme “A New Era: Explore More”, the show will explore numerous breakthroughs in general aviation, eVTOL, and more, showcasing the latest advancements across the show floor, in the skies, and at an inspiring fringe programme.
AERO Asia 2025 is the only international general aviation fair approved by the Ministry of Commerce. Themed ‘A New Era, Explore More’, Ms Wendy Wen, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, highlighted the significance of the event during the press conference: “AERO is a globally recognised trade fair brand in the general aviation sector, managed by Fairnamic, a joint venture between Messe Frankfurt and Messe Friedrichshafen, organisers of the leading European Show AERO Friedrichshafen.
For over 30 editions, AERO has steadily expanded its international influence across major markets including America, Africa, Asia and Europe, becoming one of the most indispensable fairs in the industry. The 2025 edition of AERO Asia has fully embraced the AERO brand’s global resources and innovative DNA. The event is set to showcase a comprehensive range of new technologies and industry developments from global stakeholders in the fields of general aviation and the low-altitude economy.”
The fair has attracted a diverse array of international exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and delegations. This year, the number of supporting organisations reached 37. Among them are the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (AOPA-China), Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co Ltd and Guangdong General Aviation Association.
Notably, new supporting organisations include AECC South Industry Co Ltd; AVIC Culture Co Ltd; Elevate(her) Aviation, a UK-based non-profit supporting women in aviation; Greater Bay Area Low Altitude Economy Alliance; Smart City Consortium from Hong Kong; Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA); and CharIN Asia – a Singapore-based consortium advocating electric vehicle charging infrastructure compatibility across cities and international routes.
Leading exhibitors to present cutting-edge aviation technology, products, and services
This year’s fair will host over 300 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, with new participant countries including Belgium, Korea, Malaysia, Malta, Türkiye, and the UK. The exhibitors will represent a diverse cross-section of the global industry. Highlights include:
- AutoGyro: unveiling its latest Cavalon model – the only certified gyroplane in China designed for visual night flight and equipped with autopilot capabilities.
- Becker Avionics: demonstrating its advanced airborne and ground communication technologies.
- Beringer Aero: featuring its range of high-performance tyres, brakes, and landing gear systems.
- Cirrus: debuting the newly launched SR Series G7+ – the world’s first piston aircraft with ‘Safe Return’ technology that enables automatic landing in the event of pilot incapacitation.
- Garmin: showcasing the G1000 NXi, TXi, and GTN series for the first time in China.
- Pilatus: presenting its latest business and general aviation aircraft.
- Southern Cross: specialising in integrated logistics and spare parts solutions.
Alongside the international contingent, the fair will also welcome leading domestic low-altitude innovators, with over 120 full-scale aircraft slated for indoor display and more than 150 static and dynamic aircraft featured outdoors. These include Volant Aerotech, Wanfeng Aviation Industry, Wefly, and Zero Gravity Aircraft.
Additionally, other featured domestic exhibitors such as the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), will showcase their ‘15733’ Aviation Emergency Rescue System & products from low-altitude division.
Five Themed Forums: Global Insights on the Future of the Industry
AERO Asia 2025 will also feature a diverse fringe programme, with over 50 events set to promote industry growth, technological exchange and business cooperation, including five high-profile forums: the Asia Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference, Sustainable Aviation Forum, 2025 GABA Safety International Symposium, Future Urban Air Mobility Forum, and General Aviation Propulsion Industry Forum. These forums will focus on topics such as low-altitude airworthiness certification, technological breakthroughs, aviation safety, and commercial application scenarios, collaboratively exploring future development trends in the general aviation and low-altitude economy sectors. The event will also offer Altitude Connect@AERO Asia to link exhibitors with high-profile visitors.
With its extensive range of global exhibitors and fringe events, AERO Asia 2025 is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing research and development, manufacturing, and in supporting upstream and downstream supply chains, both in China and beyond.
Various ticket types for professional buyers and aviation enthusiasts
The fair will offer three ticket types for the public: single entry adult tickets; single entry concession tickets for ages 6 – 18 and over 60; and AERO combo single entry tickets that include Zhuhai Aerospace Land. Meanwhile, industry professionals needing multiple visits can purchase a professional visitor pass.
